  Clay and Bronze

My experience with clay goes back to my early childhood. Work with clay can be with oil-based, water-based, and polymer clay. Much of my figurative work is done in clay of one type or another. Clay pieces may  be molded and cast into metal or resin. Water based clay can be fired or cast and polymer is baked. Polymer is also a medium for dolls and miniatures.
A more durable way to preserve art is to cast it into metal. I have poured both Bronze and
Aluminum. The process is quite complex and therefore costly, but durability is the  redeeming factor.

    Tic-kits

Tic-kits was the President of the Great Lakes Shrine Clowns Association. As his term ended his peers commissioned this desk clock as a thank you gift. It was sculpted from polymer clay with a wooden base. The small puddle on the sides was a gag that those clowns used to apologize for falling on his gift. They are clowns after all!
